“Parent Pulse”… an electronic form to collect parents’ opinions about the distance learning system

The Ministry of Education has developed a new electronic form to collect parents’ opinions about the distance learning system, measure their satisfaction with their children’s experience, and monitor the most prominent observations, challenges, and suggestions that contribute to developing the quality of the educational process.

The Ministry explained in a circular received by school administrations and seen by Emirates Today that the link to the form will be circulated on a weekly basis from Friday to Tuesday, with the questions updated periodically according to the targets for measuring performance and indicators of the quality of distance education, as the continuous updating aims to keep pace with educational developments and ensure the collection of accurate data that reflects the reality of the educational experience from the point of view of parents.
The Ministry stated that the form, titled “The Parent’s Pulse,” aims to establish effective communication channels with parents and raise their level of satisfaction with educational services.

The Ministry directed that the link to the form be circulated to schools, emphasizing the importance of disseminating it among parents and motivating them to participate actively, as their opinions represent an important element in supporting the decision-making process and improving educational practices.
She stressed the need to direct schools to intensify awareness efforts on the importance of participating in the questionnaire, in a way that enhances the effectiveness of the operational indicators associated with distance learning.
Continuous cooperation
She stressed the importance of continuous cooperation between the school and the family, praising the role of parents in supporting and assisting their children, which contributes to improving the outcomes of the educational process and achieving an integrated educational environment that supports students’ success and academic development.

This initiative comes within the Ministry’s efforts aimed at activating the role of the family as an essential partner in the educational process, and enhancing integration between school and home, ensuring the achievement of the best educational results for students, especially in light of the implementation of the distance learning system and the close cooperation it requires between the various parties concerned.
Family empowerment
The Ministry is focusing on enabling the family to play its role in following up on children, and enhancing their commitment to the requirements of distance learning, in addition to monitoring the technical, behavioral, or motivational challenges that students may face during classes, and working to address them in a systematic and sustainable manner.
