Iran announces the killing of the head of the Revolutionary Guards’ intelligence service

Iranian official media, citing a statement issued by the Revolutionary Guards, reported on Monday that Majid Khademi, head of Revolutionary Guard Intelligence, was killed following an American-Israeli attack on Iran.
Brigadier General Majid Khademi was appointed as the new head of the Intelligence Service of the Revolutionary Guards last June, succeeding Muhammad Kazemi, who was assassinated along with two other Guard officers following the war between Israel and Iran, according to official media.
Khademi spent decades in the field of intelligence, rising through the ranks within the Iranian security apparatus.
Before his appointment, Khademi served as head of the Intelligence Protection Organization of the Revolutionary Guard and was entrusted with internal monitoring duties. He also held senior positions in the Iranian Ministry of Defense.
