The General Ports Authority launched “Ports» A logistical initiative to harness the potential of the ports of the Eastern Region, with the aim of providing integrated and direct services that meet the needs of shipping line ships in the Arabian Gulf.

The authority revealed that The operational services package available includes supplying ships with food supplies and medical medicines, in addition to securing fuel and water supplies, and providing the necessary facilities for “changing marine crews.”

Mawani explained that it is in the process of providing an updated list of financing agents and fuel suppliers, in a step aimed at enabling ship owners and operators to communicate directly and coordinate their logistical needs immediately.

It indicated the continuation of The “Knowledge and Beneficiary Service Center” provides technical support around the clock, by receiving inquiries and directing requests to enhance the speed of response and quality of service.

At the conclusion of its announcement, the Authority confirmed that this vital initiative comes within its tireless efforts to support maritime traffic, enhance the reliability of supply chains, and confirm complete readiness to deal with various circumstances.
