Controlling a fire in a clothing warehouse in the industrial area of ​​Sharjah

Sharjah Civil Defense teams, with the support of supporting teams from Sharjah Police, began cooling operations for an accidental fire that broke out on Monday afternoon, in a clothing warehouse in Industrial Area (10), without recording any human casualties.

The competent authorities explained that preliminary investigations indicate that the fire resulted from sparks flying during the implementation of welding metal tools at the site, which led to the fire breaking out in flammable materials.

She confirmed that the teams were able to fully control the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring facilities, while cooling operations continue in accordance with established procedures.

The competent authorities called on the public to obtain information from their official sources, and to follow updates through approved channels, stressing their readiness to deal with various reports around the clock, and to take the necessary measures to ensure the safety of individuals and facilities.
