A major highway in northern Iran was closed following a US-Israeli attack

A US-Israeli air strike on Tuesday led to the closure of a major highway in northern Iran linking the city of Tabriz to Tehran via Zanjan, according to local authorities.
The official Iranian News Agency (IRNA), citing the Crisis Management Office in East Azerbaijan Province, reported that the highway was targeted about 90 kilometers from Tabriz, the largest city in northern Iran.
A channel affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard on the Telegram application reported that the raid targeted an overhead bridge.
