160 speakers and 150 exhibitors participate in the Umrah and Hajj Forum

The third edition of the Umrah, Hajj and Visitation Forum in Medina concluded, which was held under the generous patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Medina region. The closing ceremony was attended by Dr. Al-Hassan bin Yahya Al-Manakhara, Assistant Minister of Hajj and Umrah, and Engineer Abdul Mohsen Al-Salem, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for Umrah Affairs, amid a wide international presence of experts, decision-makers and service providers, so that the forum cast its curtain on huge achievements that reflect the Kingdom’s leadership in serving the guests of God.
The final harvest of the forum resulted in exceptional numbers and a huge turnout, with more than 50,000 visitors attending the accompanying exhibition, which attracted more than 150 exhibitors from international and local companies on an area exceeding 11,000 square metres.
To enrich the knowledge aspect, the three days of the forum witnessed the participation of more than 160 speakers and trainers who enriched the discussions through 25 main sessions and 40 workshops, which resulted in the training and qualification of more than 800 human cadres working in serving the guests of God. These numbers came to crown the efforts of an integrated system that succeeded in serving more than 18 million Umrah pilgrims with a growth rate of 214%, and achieving a satisfaction rate exceeding 94%, in addition to the “Nusk” application reaching 51 million users around the world and the development of 87 enriching historical sites.
On the sidelines of the forum’s closing ceremony, Dr. Ghassan bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, mentioned the participation of more than 150 exhibitors on an area exceeding 11,000 square meters in the exhibition accompanying the forum. He explained that the forum enhanced the efficiency of human resources with the participation of more than 160 speakers and trainers who enriched more than 25 main sessions and 40 workshops, which resulted in the training and qualification of more than 800 individuals working to serve the guests of God.
Al-Nuwaimi stressed that the efforts and following the end of the official speeches, the closing ceremony witnessed the culmination of the efforts made and the honoring of the distinguished, as prizes were distributed to the success partners and the winners in the technical innovation track in recognition of their advanced digital solutions. The ceremony also included the distribution of awards to distinguished startup companies from the business accelerator, and the awarding of the “Umrah Communication Award” to the winners, in addition to a number of other awards allocated to Umrah companies and external agents, thus concluding a global event that succeeded in shaping the future of Umrah and visitation and unifying efforts to enrich the experience of the guests of God.
