The Saudi stock market index jumps 2% at the beginning of trading on Wednesday


The Saudi stock market index opened (TASI) trading today, Wednesday, rose strongly by approximately 2% at the level of 11,273 points, with trades amounting to 1.66 billion riyals.

According to "TadawulSaudi Arabia"The amount of shares traded in morning trading amounted to about 55.6 million shares, while the market value of the index amounted to 9.832 trillion riyals.

Shares of 258 companies rose

The beginning of the session witnessed a collective rise for most of the companies listed on (TASI), as the shares of 258 companies rose, while the shares of only 5 companies fell, out of 269 listed companies.

The most notable rises were for the shares of: Flynas, and Research. Media, Maaden, Tabuk Agricultural, and CHEP. On the other hand, the stocks that declined the most were: Petro Rabigh, Yansab, and Saudi Aramco.

Parallel Market

The Parallel Market Index rose (Growth) at the beginning of Wednesday trading by 0.4% at the level of 22,377 points. The value of trades amounted to 1.16 million riyals, the quantity of shares was 192 thousand shares, and the market value was 38.3 million riyals.

The beginning of the session witnessed an increase in the shares of 16 companies, while the shares of two companies decreased, out of a total of 125 companies listed in the parallel market.
