Commercial records in the activity of artificial intelligence technologies have achieved remarkable growth in Saudi Arabia during the last five years, with growth exceeding 240%, according to the Ministry of Commerce.
The business sector bulletin data for the first quarter of 2026 revealed an increase in the number of existing commercial records by the end of 2025 to 19,638 records, compared to 14,585 records in the previous year, and 5,762 records in 2021.

The number of existing commercial registrations in the RiyadhList of Saudi regions in terms of the number of records in this sector, with 5,693 records, followed by Makkah Al-Mukarramah with 1,755 records, Al-Sharqiyah with 915 records, Medina with 257 records, and Al-Qassim with 120 records.
It is worth noting that the number of existing commercial records in Saudi Arabia at the end of the first quarter of this year reached 1.89 million records, an increase 1.3% on an annual basis, while the number of records issued during this quarter reached about 71 thousand records, according to the Business Sector Bulletin for the first quarter of 2026, issued by the Ministry of Commerce.
