"Higher education" It automatically recognizes the certificates of graduates of 38 universities within the country

Abu Dhabi, 8 April / WAM / The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that five new universities have joined the initiative for automatic recognition of higher education qualifications within the country, bringing the number of higher education institutions included in the initiative to 38 institutions.
The initiative reflects the ministry’s efforts towards eliminating bureaucracy and integrating services, as it enables graduates of universities benefiting from the service to obtain recognition of their qualifications automatically and immediately, after graduation, without the need to submit an application for the recognition service, through direct and instant electronic connectivity, which supports the initiative and allows automatic recognition of qualifications efficiently and quickly, which contributes to reducing administrative procedures, enhancing the efficiency of services, and providing a smoother experience for customers within the higher education system in the country.
This expansion comes as a continuation of the success achieved by this proactive service since its launch, with continued work on developing it to cover a wider segment of higher education institutions, in a way that supports students in completing their graduate studies or joining the labor market, without the need for additional procedures to recognize qualifications.
The initiative also contributes to enabling graduates to meet their various requirements, and enhancing their readiness for the next stage of their academic or professional path, within the framework of an integrated system based on digital transformation and institutional integration.
This initiative comes within an integrated system for the recognition of higher education qualifications issued within the country, and allows the accreditation of qualifications from licensed institutions that offer accredited programs, while providing a digital verification mechanism via an approved quick response code that confirms immediately and officially that the qualification is recognized, in accordance with the approved regulations and procedures.
The list of higher education institutions included in the initiative for automatic recognition of higher education qualifications within the country so far includes: United Arab Emirates University, Zayed University, Higher Colleges of Technology, University of Sharjah, American University of Sharjah, Khalifa University, Mohammed bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Abu Dhabi University, Ajman University, Al Ain University (formerly: Al Ain University of Science and Technology), University of Wollongong in Dubai, and Liwa University (formerly: Liwa College, Liwa College of Technology). Canadian University in Dubai, Gulf Medical University, City University Ajman (formerly: City University College of Ajman), American University in Dubai, Al Qasimia University, Al Wasl University (formerly: College of Islamic and Arab Studies – Dubai), Umti University Dubai, American University of Ras Al Khaimah, University of Dubai, Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (formerly: Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi), Rabdan Academy, Abu Dhabi School of Management, Jumeirah University, and Dubai Design Institute. And Innovation, Heriot-Watt University Dubai, the American University in the Emirates, Abu Dhabi Polytechnic, Ras Al Khaimah University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities (formerly: Mohammed V University – Abu Dhabi), Fatima College of Health Sciences, the British University in Dubai, the University of Fujairah, Dubai Medical University, Sharjah Education Academy, Umm Al Quwain University, and Emirates Aviation University.
As part of completing the services system, the Ministry provides a set of electronic services that support the recognition of qualifications, which reduces human intervention and saves time and effort for customers, including verifying the validity of the recognition, and issuing digital copies of qualification recognition reports issued outside the country, in a way that ensures the reliability of the data and ease of use by the concerned authorities inside the country.
