The Hatta Winter Festival attracts more than two million visitors

Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, confirmed that the Hatta Police Station constitutes an advanced model in police work, especially in light of the tourism growth of the region, as the “Hatta Hatta” Festival attracted more than two million visitors, which reflects the vital role of the center in providing distinguished security and community services.
This came during his inspection of the center as part of the annual inspection program for public administrations and police stations, in the presence of the Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Sector Affairs, Major General Hareb Muhammad Al-Shamsi, the Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs, Major General Eid Muhammad Thani, the Director of the General Administration of Police Stations, Brigadier Majid Al-Suwaidi, his Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Deira Center Affairs, Brigadier Sultan Al-Owais, the Director of the Hatta Police Station, Brigadier Mubarak Al-Ketbi, the Deputy Director of the General Administration for Excellence and Leadership, Brigadier Dr. Ibrahim bin Sebaa, and the Director of the Oversight Department. The inspection was conducted by Brigadier General Ahmed Al Muhairi, Deputy Director of Hatta Police Station, Colonel Ali Obaid Al Badawi, Head of the Inspection Department, Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Abdul Razzaq Abdul Rahim, and a number of officers.
Al Marri reviewed the progress of security work, the level of readiness and performance indicators, which showed that the percentage of feelings of safety and community confidence in police services reached 100%, security coverage recorded 100%, and job happiness reached 99.3%, while the speed of response to emergency cases reached 1.21 minutes, which reflects the efficiency of police work and the quality of the procedures followed.
The center also recorded 888 transactions during 2025, including 775 through smart channels, compared to 113 transactions in person, which reflects the success of the digital transformation.
As part of preventive efforts, statistics showed a significant decrease in fraud reports during the past three years, as they decreased from 73 reports in 2023 to 22 reports in 2024, reaching 4 reports in 2025, which reflects the success of awareness initiatives and community cooperation in the Hatta jurisdiction.
In field efforts, the Braves team contributed to securing and organizing events and festivals, in addition to traffic and awareness campaigns, and securing 44 various events and 24 football matches.
Al Marri also reviewed the traffic studies carried out by the Hatta Police Station to address the challenges on vital roads, in addition to monitoring the movement of trucks, as the passage of more than 50 trucks daily to and from Hatta was monitored, and the law was applied to control violations of overloading that may pose a danger to road users and infrastructure.
At the conclusion of the tour, Lieutenant General Al Marri praised the efforts of the Hatta Police Station personnel, stressing the importance of teamwork, developing performance, and enhancing community initiatives, to consolidate Hatta’s position as a safe and sustainable tourist destination.
Al Marri inspected the Dubai Police point at the Hatta border crossing and was briefed on the progress of work there and the traveler’s journey.
