India is considering combating migration with snakes and crocodiles

Study Indiahas spread snakes and crocodiles along its borders, in an effort to curb irregular crossings, especially from Bangladesh, according to what the border guards announced.
The two countries share more than 4,000 kilometers of border, the majority of which consists of deltas of rivers originating in the Himalayas, water swamps, and forests.
Combat irregular migration
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set the tone for combating irregular migration, especially from Bangladesh has been at the core of his government’s priorities since he took office in 2014.
A border security officer said: "We were asked to study the idea of spreading reptiles such as snakes and crocodiles into unprotected riverbeds"He pointed out that this idea was proposed in February.
He continued "It is an innovative idea, but it is fraught with many difficulties, especially in terms of security"wondering "How do we get the reptiles? What impact does it have on the residents of the border towns?".
