Optimistic that a peace agreement with Iran is near

US President Donald Trump expressed his optimism about reaching a peace agreement soon with Iran, in his statements to NBC.

Trump said: “I am optimistic that a peace agreement with Iran is near.”

Trump added that if the Iranians do not reach an agreement, it will be very painful.

Speaking about Iran’s leaders, Trump said: “Iran’s leaders are much more rational and agree to everything they have to agree to.”

Trump stressed that Iran today does not have an army, saying: “The Iranians have been crushed and they do not have an army.”

Speaking about southern Lebanon, Trabaum said: “The Israelis are reducing their operations in Lebanon, and I spoke with Netanyahu, and he will deal with the matter calmly.”
