Negotiations between Washington and Tehran will be indirect and then direct

CNN revealed that the negotiations between the United States and Iran in Islamabad are expected to be “indirect and then direct.”
A source told the American network that it is likely that the agenda for the talks will be agreed upon through Pakistani mediators, and then move to direct discussions at a later time.

Previous rounds of talks were mostly characterized by indirect nature through mediators, although there were some direct contacts during the nuclear negotiations last spring.
