Recalling Hyundai car models in the country

In coordination with the Competition and Consumer Protection Department at the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, Juma Al Majid Company, the exclusive agent for Hyundai cars in the UAE, is implementing a recall campaign for a number of Hyundai vehicles for safety reasons.

The campaign includes car models from 2017 to 2023 for models: “JSN VELOSTER”, “SX2 ELANTRA” and “CN7 KONA”.

The recall campaign includes inspecting the vehicle, performing an update to the engine’s electronic control unit, and replacing the high-pressure fuel pump if necessary, as some vehicles may encounter an illumination of the engine malfunction warning light and a malfunction in the high-pressure fuel pump.
