"Yas horses" She scores a quadruple in the final race at Al Ain Equestrian Track

Al Ain, April 11, 2020 – Al Ain Equestrian and Shooting Club concluded the 2025-2026 horse racing season by holding the fourteenth race yesterday evening, with the participation of 150 purebred Arabian horses, consisting of 10 rounds, with a total prize pool of 550,000 dirhams.
Yas Racing horses excelled, winning a quadruple win with the horse “Nimr,” the horse “Hanif,” the horse “Azad,” and the horse “Nebras” after strong competitions with the rest of the participating horses, in the presence of a large audience.
“Nimr”, under the supervision of Eric Legree and led by Samuel Legree, won the Al Ain Cup title (lists) in the third main heat for a distance of 2000 metres, with the participation of 15 purebred Arabian horses aged 4 years and above. Then “Hanif” added the second victory under the supervision of Eric Lemartnell and led by Jules Mobien, in the fourth heat for a distance of 1600 meters (A) for novice horses aged 4 years and over.
“Azad” won the third victory, under the supervision of Eric Lemartnell and led by Silvestre de Souza, “double”, in the sixth heat, for a distance of 1,600 meters (A), for horses aged 4 years and above, while “Nebras” was awarded the fourth victory, under the supervision of Eric Lemartnell, “triple”, and led by Jules Mobien, “double”, in the seventh heat, for a distance of 1,600 meters (B), for horses aged 4 years and over.
“Lahoub NR” by Nayel Rashid Al Shamsi, under the supervision of Sultan Al Hajri and led by Abdulaziz Al Balushi, snatched the title of the first half over a distance of 1800 metres, for novice horses aged 4 years and above, while the title of the second half over a distance of 1800 meters for horses aged 4 years and over went to “Salem Nour Green” for its owner Local Creator Racing, under the supervision of Doug Watson and led by Taj O’Shea.
“Abab” by Ali Abdulaziz Al Owais, supervised by Ahmed Al Muhairbi and led by Silvestre De Souza, won the title of the fifth round for a distance of 1600 meters (B) for horses aged 4 years and above.
“F Yartad” for Western Racing, supervised by Suhail Al Mazrouei and led by Sylvester de Souza (triple), outperformed his competitors in the eighth round for a distance of 1000 metres, for horses aged 4 years and above.
The filly “F Bada’a” by Khalid Khalifa Al Nabooda, under the supervision of Ernst Oertel and led by Taj O’Shea, “Double”, won the title of the ninth round for a distance of 1000 meters (A) for horses aged 4 years and above (UAE production). Then the knight Muhammad Salim concluded the evening with the title of the tenth round with the mare “Rayana Al Hosn” for the owner and trainer Ghadeer Abdullah Al Mansouri, for a distance of 1000 meters (B) for horses aged 4 Years and above (UAE production).
The winners were crowned by His Excellency Mohammed Rashid Al Naseri, General Manager of Al Ain Equestrian and Shooting Club, His Excellency Faisal Al Rahmani, Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee, General Supervisor of Racing at Al Ain Racecourse, Saeed Al Muhairi, Director of the Community Sports Department at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and Ali Farouk, Director of Equestrianism at the Club.
