An opportunity for City to close the gap… Arsenal falters against Bournemouth

The Bournemouth team snatched a difficult victory from its host Arsenal with two goals to one in the match that took place today, in the 32nd round of the English Premier League.
The first half ended in a 1-1 draw, with Bournemouth taking the lead with a goal scored by Elie Karrubi in the 17th minute, and Arsenal tied with a goal scored by Victor Geukeris in the 35th minute from a penalty kick.
In the second half, Bournemouth scored the second goal through Alex Scott in the 74th minute.
Bournemouth raised its score to 45 points in ninth place, achieving its tenth victory in the league this season, compared to losing in seven matches and drawing in 15 matches.
On the other hand, Arsenal’s balance stopped at 70 points at the top of the standings, suffering its fourth loss in the league this season, compared to winning 21 matches and drawing seven.
Manchester City, the runner-up, can reduce the gap between itself and Arsenal to six points if it wins over Chelsea tomorrow.
