Manchester City is the most represented in the 2026 World Cup… and Real Madrid is in a late position

British media revealed that Manchester City players will be the most represented among the teams participating in the 2026 World Cup, which is hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico during the period from June 11 to July 19.

The BBC reported that 19 players from Manchester City, whose last matches were at club level with the English team, will participate in the tournament, which is the highest number not only among English clubs, but among all clubs in the world.

The BBC explained that there are 17 clubs, each of which includes 10 or more players on the lists of the teams participating in the World Cup, depending on the last club the player represented before joining his country’s national team.

Bayern Munich of Germany came in second place with 18 players, while Arsenal of England and Paris Saint-Germain of France shared third place with 16 players each.

Barcelona of Spain came in fifth place with 15 players, while Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia came in sixth place, shared equally with Atletico Madrid of Spain, Crystal Palace of England and Manchester United of England, after each club was represented by 12 players on the lists of the participating teams.

The Spanish Real Madrid came in 16th place on the list, after the participating teams included only 10 players whose last matches at the club level were in the royal team’s shirt.

9- Manchester United (England): 12 players.
10- Borussia Dortmund (Germany): 11 players.
11- Galatasaray (Türkiye): 11 players.
12- Liverpool (England): 11 players.
13- Fenerbahce (Türkiye): 10 players.
14- Milan (Italy): 10 players.
15- Eindhoven (Netherlands): 10 players.
16- Real Madrid (Spain): 10 players.
17- Slavia Prague (Czech Republic): 10 players.
