I do not fear the Trump administration and do not intend to enter into an argument with him

Today, Monday, Pope Leo
“I’m sorry to hear that,” Liu told The Associated Press on the papal plane. He added: “I will not enter into an argument with Trump. What I am saying is certainly not directed as an attack on anyone.”
Pope Leo added, “I will not back down from calling on all people to search for ways to build bridges of peace and reconciliation, and to search for ways to avoid war whenever possible.”
Speaking to other journalists, he said: “I do not fear the Trump administration and I do not intend to enter into a debate with him.”
Trump launched a scathing attack on Pope Leo on Sunday evening, saying that he did not believe that the Pope, who was born in the United States, was “doing his job very well.”
During his return to Washington from Florida, Trump published a lengthy post on social media in which he strongly criticized Pope Leo, and then continued to criticize him after he got off the plane, in statements he made to reporters on the airport floor.
“I’m not a fan of Pope Leo,” Trump said.
