The Crown Prince of Bahrain directs the payment of April salaries to citizens working in the private sector

Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, directed that the necessary legal and constitutional measures be taken to refer a draft law requiring payment of the salaries of insured Bahrainis in private sector companies for the month of April, from the Unemployment Insurance Fund, in support of the private sector, and to preserve national employment and the continuation of economic activity. This came during his chairmanship of the Cabinet meeting on Monday, according to what was published by the official Bahraini News Agency.

The Central Bank of Bahrain also announced the launch of a program to postpone loans and provide liquidity support, which includes a set of measures aimed at supporting the Kingdom of Bahrain’s economy and the financial sector.
