The wholesale price index in Saudi Arabia increased by 3.3% during March 2026

According to a report issued by the Other transportable goods, except for mineral products, machinery, and equipment, increased by 6.4% in March 2026 compared to March 2025, driven by an increase in the prices of basic chemicals by 33.6%, and an increase in the prices of refined petroleum products by 3.9%.
The prices of mineral products, machinery, and equipment witnessed an increase of 1.2%, as a result of an increase in the prices of basic metals by a percentage 6.6 And the prices of transport equipment increased by 0.8%.
In the same context, the prices of agricultural and fishing products witnessed an increase by 1.8%, as a result of the prices of agricultural products increasing by 1.7%, and the prices of live animals and animal products increasing by 2.7%.
On the other hand, the prices of ores and metals decreased by 0.2%, as a result of the decrease in the prices of stones and sand by 0.2%.
While the prices of food products, beverages and tobacco stabilized. And textiles, and no significant relative change was recorded during the month of March 2026.
Wholesale prices on a monthly basis
On a monthly basis. The wholesale price index witnessed an increase by 0.2% in the month of March 2026 compared to last February, as a result of an increase in the prices of metal products, machinery
and equipment by 0.3%, driven by an increase in the prices of basic metals by 1.9%, and the prices of radio, television and communications equipment and equipment by 0.3%. 0.5%.
In the same context, the prices of other transportable goods, except for metal products, machinery and equipment, witnessed an increase by 0.4% as a result of the increase in the prices of basic chemicals by 2.5%, and the increase in the prices of rubber and plastic products by 0.1%.
On the other hand, the prices of food products, beverages, tobacco, and textiles decreased by 0.2%, as a result of the decrease in the prices of meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, oils and fats by 0.5%. 0.4%, and the prices of grain mill products, starch, and other food products decreased by 0.2%.
The prices of agricultural and fishing products recorded a decrease of 0.5%, as a result of the decrease in the prices of agricultural products by 0.9%.
While the prices of raw materials and metals stabilized and did not record any significant relative change during the month of March 2026.
