“Ports and Customs” enhances the continuity of supplying ships with supplies and fuel in Dubai ports and their berthing areas

The Dubai Ports Authority, affiliated with the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, has confirmed its continued readiness to provide integrated maritime services to ships located in Dubai ports and Dubai Ports Authority berthing areas around the clock, ensuring continuity of operations with high efficiency and meeting the various needs of ships.

The Authority explained that its advanced operational system allows the provision of a comprehensive package of maritime services, including supplying ships with fuel, providing food and medical supplies, and marine crew change services, in addition to various operational requirements, within smooth procedures that contribute to enhancing the efficiency of operational performance.

Executive Director of the Dubai Ports Authority, Captain Ibrahim Al Balushi, confirmed that this comes within the framework of the Authority’s keenness to enhance customers’ awareness of the availability and continuity of services, indicating that the Authority adopts a proactive approach in communicating with ship operators and owners to ensure that their needs are met immediately.

He added: We continue to work to provide flexible and responsive services that keep pace with the requirements of the maritime sector, by linking ships to approved service providers and facilitating access to various operational services with high efficiency and reliability. The Authority also coordinates continuously with service providers to ensure the integration of operational processes, enhance the readiness of resources, and provide services with high efficiency according to the highest quality standards, in a way that meets the needs of ships immediately and in various circumstances.

He pointed out that the authority provides direct communication channels with the concerned authorities and service providers, enabling customers to coordinate their requests easily and conveniently, stressing that the customer service center works around the clock to ensure speed of response and quality of service.

The Executive Director of the Dubai Ports Authority stressed that the readiness of the Dubai Ports Authority and the continuity of its services come as part of its continuing efforts to support supply chains and enhance the smoothness of maritime traffic, which contributes to consolidating Dubai’s position as a global maritime and logistics center.
