المملكة: Riyadh…a package of investment opportunities with areas exceeding 535 thousand square meters


I introduced The Riyadh Municipality, represented by the Investment and Privatization Agency, presented a wide package of investment opportunities through the “Foras” platform, with a total area exceeding 535 thousand square meters, as part of its efforts to promote economic development and keep pace with the rapid urban growth in the city.

The Municipality indicated that the opportunities offered are distributed across several sectors, including: residential, commercial, and car showrooms, in addition to specific projects such as sports academies and entertainment projects, with contractual periods of up to 25 years.

Investment opportunities

The available investment opportunities vary as follows:

Sports Academy – Al-Qairawan District (north of Riyadh):
Construction and operation of Al-Qairawan Park, with an investment of 25% of the total area for a sports academy activity, on an area of approximately 10,833 m², with a contract for 25 years, and the bid opening date is June 28, 2026.

Car showrooms – Al-Qadisiyah district (east of Riyadh):
Establishing and operating a car showroom on an area of 2,925 square meters, with a 15-year contract, and the bid opening date is June 10, 2026.

An entertainment commercial project – Al-Awali district (west of Riyadh):
Establishing, operating and maintaining the “Upper Riyadh View” park, with 25% of the area invested in commercial activity, with a total area 57,350 m², with a contract for 25 years, and the bids are opened on June 28, 2026.

Multiple commercial opportunities (25 years):

– Kairouan district: an area of 3,743 m² (bids opening June 8, 2026).
– Al-Khair district: an area of 8,673 m² (June 8, 2026), and a mixed-use project. With an area of 20,273 m² (June 9, 2026).
– Al-Janadriyah neighborhood: A mixed-use project with an area of 22,555 m² (June 9, 2026).
– Al-Durayhimiya neighborhood: Two opportunities with an area of 2,735 m² each (June 10 and 11, 2026).
– Badr neighborhood: A mixed-use project with an area of 9,719 m² (June 11). 2026), in addition to a commercial opportunity with an area of 8,443 square meters (June 14, 2026).

The residential sector (villas and buildings – for a period of 25 years):

– Al-Malqa neighborhood: residential villas with an area of 4,760 square meters (June 14, 2026).
– Al-Arid neighborhood: villas with an area of 3,134 square meters (June 15, 2026).
– Al-Khair neighborhood: Several sites with various areas up to 26,363 square meters (mid-June 2026).
– Al-Nakhil neighborhood: villas with an area of 2,860 square meters (June 29, 2026).
– Al-Rimal neighborhood: Residential buildings with an area of 4,182 square meters, and buildings with an area of 13,664 square meters (June 30, 2026).
– Al-Aridh neighborhood (south of Riyadh): A large number of residential opportunities with areas ranging from 11,000 to 16,250 square metres, with launch dates extending from July 1 to July 13, 2026.

The Municipality confirmed that the “Foras” platform is the unified electronic portal for displaying municipal investment opportunities, as it allows investors to browse opportunities, purchase brochures, and submit electronically, stressing that the conditions brochure is the primary reference for all details and obligations.
