Private school administrations have identified five main responsibilities for educational staff and supervisors, in conjunction with the return to the in-person education system, the day after tomorrow, Monday, within the framework of enhancing school readiness and ensuring the provision of a safe and organized educational environment for students, in a way that supports the continuity of the educational process in accordance with the highest standards of safety and discipline.

The importance of the vital role played by cadres is highlighted, and school principals stressed that the five responsibilities are the cornerstone for the success of this transformation, ensuring the safety of students and the efficient continuity of the educational process.

The principal of a private school in Dubai, Khaled Abdul Hamid, said that the first of these responsibilities is to fully adhere to the approved controls and procedures, as educational staff are required to strictly implement regulatory instructions, in a way that enhances discipline and ensures the achievement of the highest safety standards within schools.

He stated that the second responsibility focuses on providing continuous support and direct guidance to students, by making them aware of safety procedures and how to behave properly when receiving official warnings, which contributes to raising their level of readiness.

In a related context, Walid Fouad Lafi, director of a private school in Sharjah, explained that the third responsibility is that it emphasizes psychological and moral support for students, especially in emergency situations, where teachers are expected to calm the students, reassure them, and direct them in a balanced manner that enhances the feeling of safety and stability.

He said that the fourth responsibility includes organizing students and ensuring their movement to safe areas when needed, while ensuring their adherence to approved safety procedures, and maintaining order and discipline within those areas to ensure the safety of everyone.

As for the director of one of the private schools that implements the ministerial curriculum, Kholoud Fahmy, confirmed that the fifth responsibility is to prepare accurate and updated lists of the names and numbers of students, and to submit immediate reports to the administration upon the end of any emergency or alert, ensuring accurate follow-up and speedy decision-making.

School principals stressed that these responsibilities reflect a clear integration in the roles of educational staff, as their role is not limited to education only, but extends to include care, guidance, and crisis management, which enhances the readiness of educational institutions to face various circumstances and ensure a safe and stable educational environment.
