The Abu Dhabi Police Youth Council, in cooperation with the Traffic Awareness and Education Section of the Traffic and Security Patrols Directorate, and in coordination with ADNOC Marine Company, organized a traffic education workshop entitled “Cross Safely” for the company’s employees, within the strategic priority of “Smart Road Security,” and supporting the goals of the National Youth Agenda 2031, from which about 950 employees benefited.
Abu Dhabi Police confirmed that organizing this workshop comes within the framework of its keenness to spread traffic culture among various segments of society, and to enhance compliance with traffic laws, in a way that contributes to protecting lives and property, and consolidating the concepts of social responsibility.
The workshop addressed a number of topics related to the safety of pedestrians and road users, focusing on the importance of adhering to traffic laws and regulations, and their role in reducing traffic accidents and enhancing the safety of the individual and society.
Captain Murshid Ali Al Marar, member of the Abu Dhabi Police Youth Council, reviewed the most important positive behaviors that must be followed while crossing roads, in addition to educating participants about the dangers of wrong crossing, and ways to prevent them.
This initiative comes within a series of awareness programs implemented by Abu Dhabi Police, with the aim of raising the level of traffic awareness among members of society, and promoting the adoption of positive behaviors, in a way that supports achieving a safe and sustainable traffic environment on the emirate’s roads.
