Due amounts and fees.. Parkin warns drivers of fake links to pay parking fees

Parkin has warned customers of circulating fraudulent messages claiming that there are amounts or fees owed, and asking recipients to pay them via unreliable links, stressing the need to be careful and not interact with any suspicious links or messages.

The company explained that some users may receive messages claiming due payments and calling for payment through links of unknown origin, stressing the importance of avoiding clicking on any unknown links or sharing any personal or banking data before confirming the source of the message.

“Parkin” stressed through its digital platforms the necessity of verifying all information and paying fees only through the company’s official approved channels, calling on the public to rely on the official application and the approved website, and not to respond to any messages received from unverified numbers or links.

This warning comes in light of the increase in electronic fraud attempts targeting drivers and users of parking services, whether through text messages, fake links, or even unauthorized QR codes, with the aim of seizing bank data or personal account information.
