"Fujairah businesswomen" and"District Development Corporation" They cooperate to empower women and support entrepreneurship
Fujairah, April 20 / WAM / The Fujairah Businesswomen Council and the Fujairah District Development Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening institutional partnership and unifying efforts in the areas of women’s empowerment, supporting entrepreneurship, and local community development in Fujairah.
The memorandum was signed by Her Excellency Aisha Al-Jassem, Chairman of the Fujairah Businesswomen’s Council, and Her Excellency Abdullah Khalfan Al-Yamahi, Director of the Fujairah Regional Development Foundation, within the framework of the emirate’s directions aimed at achieving balanced and sustainable development, and building a supportive environment for pioneering projects and community initiatives.
The memorandum aims to develop specific programs that contribute to enhancing the capabilities of businesswomen, raising their professional competence, and enabling them to expand the scope of their participation in various economic sectors, in a way that supports the goals of comprehensive development in the emirate.
The memorandum stipulates cooperation in implementing training programmes, workshops and awareness-raising events, in addition to benefiting from the community councils affiliated with the Fujairah Regional Development Foundation as centers to host initiatives and activities directed to female council members, thus contributing to enhancing community interaction and expanding the base of beneficiaries.
Areas of cooperation also include designing and implementing specialized programs in entrepreneurship, management, digital marketing and leadership skills, in addition to exchanging experiences and participating in events, exhibitions and conferences, which strengthens the network of professional relationships and opens new horizons for strategic partnerships.
The two sides stressed that this memorandum is a qualitative step towards building a sustainable cooperation system that supports Emirati women and contributes to the development of emerging projects, which will reflect positively on the local economy and enhance the development process in Fujairah.
