Banque Saudi Fransi’s profits increased in the first quarter of 2026 by 3.2% to 1.38 billion riyals, compared to 1.33 billion riyals in the same quarter of last year.

He explained that the increase in total operating income was mainly due to an increase in net special commission income, dividend income, and gains on investments held for non-trading purposes, which was offset by a partial decrease in net fee and commission income and foreign exchange income.

He added that The increase in total operating expenses is mainly due to an increase in employee salaries and expenses, depreciation and amortization, while the provision for other financial assets decreased.

Net income increased on a quarterly basis, mainly due to a 3.3% increase in total operating income, while total operating expenses also decreased by 2.8%.

He stated that this increase in total operating income is due to an increase in gains from investments held for non-trading purposes, dividend income, and net fee income. and commissions, which was offset by a partial decrease in trading income. And foreign exchange income.

He pointed out that the decrease in total operating expenses is mainly due to a decrease in other operating expenses and general and administrative expenses, while salaries expenses, employee-related expenses, rent and building expenses, and the provision for other financial assets increased.
