The Syrian President arrives in Saudi Arabia on an official visit

Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa arrived in Jeddah, today, Tuesday, on an official visit to Saudi Arabia, during which he will meet with Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, as part of a Gulf tour.

The Saudi News Agency “SPA” reported that the Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, was receiving President Al-Sharaa at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.

The Syrian President visited Saudi Arabia last October, where he met the Crown Prince and participated in the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative conference, in a step that at that time reflected mutual openness and a desire to rebuild channels of communication between the two countries.
