The Musical Professions Syndicate announced new details regarding the health condition of the artist Hani Shaker, after he underwent colon surgery to stop severe bleeding.
Hani Shaker’s condition is unstable
Quotes Egyptian media, according to sources close to the union’s board of directors, that the artist is currently receiving treatment in a hospital in France, where he is undergoing intensive medical care.The sources confirmed that the condition of Hani Shaker‘s health is still unstable, as a result of the colon being affected to a large extent, noting that doctors continue to closely monitor him in intensive care, amid calls from his family and fans to pray for his speedy recovery and overcoming this health crisis.
Denying the news of death
The Egyptian Music Professions Syndicate had previously denied what was reported on social media sites regarding the death of the artist Hani Shaker, stressing that this news is baseless, and stressing the need not to be led by rumours.
The union confirmed, through its media advisor, Mustafa Al-Qasabi, that what is being circulated is inaccurate, calling for credibility in reporting the news, while continuing to pray for the artist for a speedy recovery.

The head of the Egyptian community in France, Saleh Farhoud, pointed out the deterioration of the artist’s health condition, confirming that he was transferred to intensive care and placed on respirators, with visitors completely prohibited except for his family members.
He also explained that the medical team is making intensive efforts to stabilize his condition, amid close monitoring of developments in his health condition.
