Cooperation between the Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council and"Khalifa Fund" To enhance the entrepreneurship system

ABU DHABI, 22nd April / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council signed a memorandum of understanding with the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi Global Entrepreneurship Festival 2026, in the presence of His Excellency Ali Mohammed Al Marzouqi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and His Excellency Moza Obaid Al Nasiri, CEO of the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, in a step that reflects the strategic directions of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi towards promoting a diversified economy based on innovation.
The memorandum was signed by Mansour Abdul Jabbar Al Sayegh, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council, and His Excellency Khalifa Al Kuwaiti, Executive Director of the Operations Sector at the Khalifa Fund, within the framework of a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing the integration of roles between entities supporting entrepreneurship, and developing a more interconnected system that enables entrepreneurs to grow and expand within a competitive business environment.
This partnership comes as an extension of the efforts of both sides to support entrepreneurs and emerging companies, by providing integrated paths that include financing, qualification, guidance, and access to markets, thus enhancing their readiness to grow locally and move towards regional and global markets.
The cooperation also focuses on developing specific programs and joint initiatives that contribute to building the capabilities of entrepreneurs, enhancing the culture of innovation, and providing real opportunities for growth and sustainability, in addition to supporting the transfer of knowledge and the exchange of experiences between the various components of the entrepreneurial system in the emirate.
Mansour Abdul Jabbar Al Sayegh said that this partnership represents a strategic step towards establishing a more integrated entrepreneurship system in Abu Dhabi, as the Council works to empower entrepreneurs and connect them with opportunities, and believes that investing in them is a direct investment in the future of the economy and its sustainability.
He added that the Council continues its role as a main enabler and coordinator of the system, by launching specific initiatives and programs that reflect the needs of entrepreneurs and contribute to supporting their growth and expansion paths.
For his part, His Excellency Khalifa Al-Kuwaiti said that this memorandum reflects the Fund’s commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships that contribute to building an integrated system to support entrepreneurs, by providing financing, training and guidance, and enabling them to develop innovative and viable projects, in a way that supports the competitiveness of the national economy.
This memorandum enhances the role of the Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council as an institutional platform that represents the voice of entrepreneurs, and contributes to linking them to the private sector system and decision makers, while the Khalifa Fund continues its pivotal role in empowering small and medium enterprises and supporting their growth and sustainability.
The partnership confirms the commitment of both sides to supporting Abu Dhabi’s economic vision and enhancing the role of youth as a driving force for growth, which contributes to building a more flexible and competitive economy based on knowledge and innovation.
