Dubai Holding acquires Rover electric vehicles developed locally by Go Gravity

Dubai Holding has strengthened its commitment to supporting local small and medium enterprises through its acquisition of the first commercial batch of electric Rover vehicles developed locally by Go Gravity, for use within the Hatta and Wadi Hub Resorts, supporting sustainable mobility solutions and enhancing eco-tourism offerings in Dubai.
The Rover is a fully electric all-terrain vehicle, designed and assembled in Hatta Wadi Hub, bearing the “Made in the UAE” label, and available in three models: rear-wheel drive, four-wheel drive and GT, to meet performance requirements in mountainous environments.
Rudi Subra, Vice President of Asset Management at Dubai Holding, said: “Since its inception, Hatta Wadi Hub was designed to be a pioneering platform to empower local entrepreneurs, and ‘Go Gravity’ embodies an inspiring example of what this ambitious approach can achieve. ‘Rover’ represents a product that proudly bears the ‘Made in the UAE’ label, developed by an Emirati team from within one of our destinations, and today it is ready to launch towards commercial expansion on a larger scale. Our acquisition of the first batch for use within Hatta Resorts represents a natural step that reflects our firm commitment to supporting small and medium-sized companies that add a unique character to our destinations, in addition to moving forward in enhancing our sustainability agenda by adopting electric mobility solutions.”

This acquisition comes within Dubai Holding’s efforts to empower local small and medium-sized companies by integrating them into its business system, and providing business opportunities that support their growth, in line with the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda. It is worth noting that “Hatta Wadi Hub” constitutes an integrated platform to empower local entrepreneurs, and includes more than 24 small and medium-sized companies active in the adventure, hospitality, food and technology sectors, while “Go Gravity” is one of the established companies in the destination since its launch.
