US President Donald Trump said that he will not allow Iran to possess a nuclear weapon that threatens the Middle East or the United States, stressing that the United States will end the war with Iran militarily if an agreement is not reached.
Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump ruled out strikes on Iran with nuclear weapons, saying: “No party should be allowed to use a nuclear weapon.”
Regarding the US blockade on Iran, Trump said: “We have complete control over the Strait of Hormuz.”
The US President stressed that “the Strait of Hormuz will be opened when an agreement is reached or something else happens.”
