He fell asleep while Kompany was speaking… Bayern Munich punishes its young player

Bayern Munich punished one of its players for falling asleep while talking to the team led by Vincent Kompany.
The Bavarian team celebrated its second consecutive title in the German League under the leadership of Vincent Kompany last week, after defeating Stuttgart 4-2.
The Bavarian giant is looking forward to achieving a historic treble, after securing its place in the German Cup final, in addition to qualifying for the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Kompany is known for his strict discipline, and it has emerged that one of Bayern’s stars has been specifically punished for dereliction of duty.
According to the newspaper “Sport Bild”, the young player Wisdom Mike fell asleep during a morning meeting after spending the previous night with one of his teammates.
Mike is said to have left the club’s headquarters in Munich and returned late.
Mike did not deny the allegations, and Kompany and the club took disciplinary action. The Belgian coach decided not to address the issue publicly, and spoke to Wisdom privately, in addition to his conversation with his father.
However, Mike was punished in a different way, as the 17-year-old was banned from the club’s headquarters for a week, and forced to pay for his own hotel accommodation as punishment.
The case was then considered closed, and the promising player made five appearances in all competitions this season.
It is noteworthy that Mike joined the club from Duisburg in 2022, and played mainly with the under-19 team, where he participated in 11 matches and scored three goals.
