Al-Nasr celebrates its first home win in the league since November 2025

Al-Nasr team achieved its first victory at home in the UAE Professional League since November 2025, after defeating its guest, Al-Jazira, 3-2, today, Friday, at Al Maktoum Stadium in the 23rd round, in the presence of about two thousand spectators.
Al-Ameed’s last victory at home dates back to the eighth round of the competition, when it defeated Al-Dhafra with two clean goals, before then playing 7 matches without any victory (5 draws and 2 losses), which contributed to the decline in its results during the last period.
This victory revived Al-Nasr’s chances in competing for the qualifying cards for external competitions, after raising its score to 34 points in sixth place, while Al-Jazira’s score froze at 40 points in third place, making its position more complicated in maintaining its position, in light of the pursuit of Al-Wasl and Al-Wahda, which have 39 points each.
Al Jazira opened the scoring in the 12th minute through Vinicius Melo, ending the first half ahead, consolidating its distinction as the league’s top scoring team in the first half, with 23 goals.
In the second half, Al-Nasr responded quickly, equalizing in the 47th minute through Glauber Lima, before Ramon Merez added the second goal in the 50th minute.
Al Jazira returned to equalize the score in the 67th minute through Vinicius Melo again, but substitute Chikna Doumbia decided the confrontation in favor of the “Dean” by scoring the winning goal in the 73rd minute, just two minutes after his participation.
