The Emir of Qatar and the American President review the regional situation by telephone

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, reviewed by phone today with US President Donald Trump the latest developments in the regional situation, especially the developments in the ceasefire agreement, and international efforts aimed at consolidating it, in addition to discussing the repercussions of the situation on the security of maritime navigation and global supply chains.

The Qatar News Agency reported that Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani stressed during the phone call the need to reduce tension and support peaceful solutions, stressing Qatar’s continued coordination with regional and international partners to support mediation efforts, which contributes to enhancing security and stability in the region.
