Dakar.. 62 competitors on the first day of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Competition for the Qur’an and Sunnah
The jury continues its work in King Salman bin Abdulaziz to for the countries of the African continent in its second session, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, with the participation of contestants representing (53) countries, in the Senegalese capital
During the first day, the arbitration committees listened to (50) contestants in the four branches of the Holy Qur’an, and (12) contestants in the branches of the Prophet’s Sunnah, according to an organized schedule within the halls designated for the competition.

This comes amid careful organization and direct supervision from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, and with the follow-up of His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif. Bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh.
The level of participation in the current session of the competition reflects the accuracy of the countries’ selection of their representatives, as the competition is considered one of the most prominent Qur’anic and scientific competitions on the level of the African continent, in terms of the number of participating countries and the diversity of its branches, which contributes to enhancing honorable competition and encouraging the memorization of the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet among Muslim children.
