In a casual look, Queen Rania is shopping for her granddaughter

From the heart of the vibrant Sweifieh district, Queen Rania Al Abdullah painted a new landscape of down-to-earth royal elegance. A field trip accompanied by her older sister, Dina Al-Yassin, turned into a lesson in “smart style” fashion, which combines luxury and spontaneity, and the roles of queen and grandmother.
Queen Rania chose a thoughtful daytime look that reflects her modern and close-to-people personality. The “look” was a balanced mix between new and elegantly recycled pieces, confirming that sustainability in fashion is also a royal choice.
Topping off the look was a striking new piece: a high-necked stretch jersey top with a micro-checkered pattern from Dries Van Noten. The tight, striped design gave the top a practical and elegant look at the same time, and was brilliantly balanced with the dark blue Margo Choosing wide jeans reflects the “Relaxed Royal” wave that the Queen has recently adopted, and gives her ideal freedom of movement for field tours.
As for the surprise, it was in the shoes: BB 105 Tartan Pumps from Manolo Blahnik, with its classic design and tartan print that cleverly blended with the squares of the top. High heels did not prevent her from moving around gracefully, a message that elegance does not conflict with field tasks.
Her Majesty completed the look with a beige Bottega Veneta Small Cobble intrecciato bag. The new bag, with its iconic stitching, was practical and light, perfectly suitable for a shopping trip, while maintaining the quiet luxury that characterizes the Queen’s choices.
