Abu Dhabi Police launches the Safe Family Charter

The Abu Dhabi Police General Command, represented by the Community Police Department, launched the “Safe Family Charter” coinciding with the Year of the Family, and in support of the strategic priority “Proactive Security” aimed at enhancing the quality of life and establishing community security, which contributes to supporting family stability and improving the quality of life.
Colonel Saif Ali Al Jabri, Acting Director of the Community Police Department, confirmed that the “Safe Family Charter” was prepared in Arabic and English, ensuring that it reaches various segments of society, explaining that it focuses on a number of key areas, including community security, family security, traffic safety, electronic security, and national identity, which reflects the Abu Dhabi Police’s commitment to strengthening community partnership and consolidating the concepts of prevention and proactiveness.
He pointed out that the Charter aims to enhance family and community security and stability, consolidate positive values and responsible behaviors, and raise the level of awareness of safe practices, in a way that supports building a cohesive and sustainable society, stressing that the family represents the basic pillar in building a safe and stable society, because of its pivotal role in raising aware and responsible individuals capable of contributing to supporting the development process.
The head of the We Are All Police Department in the Community Police Department, Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Saeed Al-Ashkhari, explained that the charter represents an integrated awareness framework that enhances the awareness of community members and establishes positive and responsible behaviors within the family, which contributes to supporting the community security system.
He added that the charter enhances the role of community members as active partners in the security system, through commitment to safe practices and cooperation with relevant authorities, in a way that supports building a more cohesive and sustainable society.
