403 million dirhams in TECOM Group profits during the first quarter

Dubai, April 29 / WAM / TECOM Group, listed on the Dubai Financial Market under the symbol TECOM, announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2026, recording strong growth in various performance indicators, reflecting the strength of its business model and its benefit from the continued economic momentum in Dubai and the UAE.
The group’s revenues increased by 11% on an annual basis to reach 755 million dirhams, compared to 680 million dirhams during the same period last year, while net recurring profit recorded a growth of 12% to reach 403 million dirhams compared to 361 million dirhams.
EBITDA also increased by 13% to reach 610 million dirhams, with the profitability margin improving to 81% compared to 79% during the first quarter of 2025.
This strong performance reflects the growing demand for specialized business complexes managed by the group, in addition to the expansion of its commercial and industrial assets portfolio, supported by high occupancy rates, improved average rental values, and efficient cost management.
Abdullah Belhoul, CEO of TECOM Group, said on this occasion that the economy of the UAE and Dubai continues to confirm its strength, flexibility, and ability to adapt to global changes, noting that the group’s strong performance reflects the diversity of its revenue sources and the efficiency of its operational operations.
He added that the average duration of lease contracts reached 8.8 years, while occupancy rates in commercial and industrial assets reached 98%, with customer retention rates reaching 94% in the commercial portfolio and 99% in the industrial portfolio, which reflects the strength of demand and the strength of relationships with customers.
Cash flows from operations recorded a growth of 14% to reach 549 million dirhams, which enhances liquidity and revenue quality.
In terms of operational achievements, Dubai Media City celebrated its 25th anniversary, while Dubai Industrial City highlighted its system during its participation in Gulfood 2026, and Dubai Science Park celebrated its 20th anniversary.
Dubai International Academic City and Dubai Knowledge Park witnessed a growth in the number of students to exceed 38,500 students, a growth rate of 15%, enhancing Dubai’s position as a global destination for higher education.
Als Emirates Ready Mix also announced plans to establish a new factory in Dubai Industrial City, and Amspec Group opened a modern laboratory in Dubai Science Park.
