He posted a photo of the attacker of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner inside the hotel room, in possession of break-in weapons

The US Public Prosecution published a photo of the alleged gunman, Cole Allen, inside a room at the Washington Hilton Hotel, in possession of firearms, before he attempted to storm the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Pictures published by the US Department of Justice of weapons, including a pistol and a hunting rifle, said they were confiscated from the accused in the shooting incident that occurred during the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner.

On Monday, an American court charged the accused with an attempt to assassinate US President Donald Trump after he opened fire in the outer hallway of the hall that hosted the party on Saturday night, in the presence of Donald Trump and a number of senior officials in his administration.

Former FBI official Jason Pack, speaking to the Wall Street Journal, said that the essence of the security flaw in the attack that targeted Trump and a number of figures in his administration during the dinner party at the Washington Hilton Hotel, was the key to a room in the hotel, which the attacker obtained easily.

A report stated that the hotel includes 1,107 rooms, 47 meeting rooms, and four dining facilities, and that this facility, located in the heart of the American capital, cannot be completely closed.

Law enforcement said one of those rooms was booked by the 31-year-old gunman, who checked in the day before the shooting, giving him deeper knowledge of the hotel’s details.

The report noted that the suspect, Cole Allen, said in a series of writings reviewed by the newspaper that he entered the hotel with several weapons, and that “no one there thought for a moment that I might be a threat.”

People familiar with the investigation also indicated that inside Allen’s hotel room, investigators found a loaded magazine that held 10 rounds, two knives, a laptop, a hard drive, a metro receipt, and a filter mask.
