The Basketball Association concludes an international tournament with the participation of 15 coaches
Dubai, April 29 / WAM / The UAE Basketball Federation announced the participation of 15 coaches in the International Coaches Course (Level One) for the first group, which it organized under the supervision of the International Federation, and its activities concluded today at the headquarters of the sports federations of the National Olympic Committee.
The conclusion of the course was attended by His Excellency Abdul Latif Nasser Al Fardan, President of the UAE Basketball Association, who honored the participants and awarded them certificates for passing the course, in appreciation of their commitment and efforts during the training program.
Al-Fardan stressed that organizing the first level course is an essential step towards building a base of qualified trainers in accordance with the latest international standards, noting the Federation’s keenness to provide specialized training programs that contribute to developing technical personnel and refining their skills, which will reflect positively on the level of the game in the country.
He said that this course constitutes an important starting point for trainers to acquire the correct scientific foundations in training and enhance their technical capabilities.
