The US Federal Reserve holds interest rates

The US Federal Reserve kept interest rates at their same levels without change, in line with market expectations, amid anticipation of the repercussions of Iran’s war on inflation and growth in the United States.
Today, Wednesday, the Federal Open Market Committee voted in favor of keeping the reference interest rate at a range of 3.5% and 3.75% without change, for the third meeting during the current year, in light of the state of uncertainty associated with the repercussions of the price war taking place in the Middle East.
