The rise in gold prices is driven by a decline in the dollar and oil

Gold rose in spot transactions by 2.2%, reaching $4,639.26 per ounce by 13:12 GMT, after falling to its lowest level in a month, yesterday, Wednesday.
US gold futures contracts for June delivery increased by 2%, to settle at $4,652.30.

As for other precious metals, silver rose by 3% in spot transactions to $73.63 per ounce, platinum increased by 4.6% to reach $1,965.23, and palladium gained 1.5% to reach $1,480.75.
