The US Army briefs Trump on military options regarding Iran

A US official said that senior US military leaders, including US Central Command Commander Brad Cooper, will brief President Donald Trump later today, Thursday, on the possibility of taking military action against Iran.
Reuters quoted the official as saying that Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Kaine will also participate in the briefing.
The official did not reveal the scope of the options that would be discussed, but indicated that the briefing would focus on the measures necessary to push Iran to negotiate to end the conflict.
