The US Senate rejects for the sixth time a resolution to end the military operation in Iran

The US Senate voted for the sixth time to reject a draft resolution based on the War Powers Act aimed at ending US military operations in Iran until it obtains approval from Congress.
The draft resolution presented by Democratic Senator Adam Schiff failed after 50 members voted against it and 47 in favour.
American media reported that Democratic Senator John Fetterman was the only Democrat to vote no, while Republicans Susan Collins and Rand Paul voted in favor of the resolution.
She noted that Collins’ vote is remarkable, as it is the first time she has supported the draft resolution.
