The King of Bahrain affirms his rejection of Iranian interference and stresses unity of ranks and the protection of national security

The Bahraini King, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, affirmed that the sinful Iranian aggression that the Kingdom of Bahrain was subjected to, targeting its security, stability, and the safety of its people, revealed the falsehood of those who sold their consciences to the enemy, stressing that the homeland is above all, and that the Kingdom of Bahrain is a trust in the necks of all its children.
He said in an interview with the media broadcast by the Bahraini News Agency that the ordeal that the nation went through revealed faces and dropped masks, when the Kingdom of Bahrain was subjected to a sinful Iranian aggression that targeted its security, stability, and the safety of its people.
He added: While our valiant armed forces were on alert to repel any treacherous attack, a small group of people swung forth and sold their consciences to the enemy, extending a hand of cooperation to those who violated the sovereignty of the homeland in a betrayal that then became a betrayal, and a crime that is unforgivable in the custom of the nations or in the conscience of the peoples.
The King of Bahrain stressed that Iran must stop interfering in the internal affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Gulf states, expressing his deep anger at what happened, stressing that his anger is nothing but a sincere translation of the anger of an entire people. He wondered how he could not be angry when he saw those whom the nation had entrusted with its capabilities stabbing its side, and those whom the people had elected to represent it standing alongside the traitors whom public opinion condemned and denounced their heinous act.
He pointed out that public opinion today stands united and with one word, demanding the expulsion of everyone who cooperated with the sinful aggression, as whoever betrays the homeland does not deserve the honor of belonging to it, nor the generosity of living on its pure wealth, pointing out that citizenship is not a paper that is granted, but rather a covenant and a covenant, and whoever breaks the covenant has forfeited his right with his own hand.
The Bahraini King expressed his regret that some legislators sided with traitors, instead of being a shield for the nation and a voice for truth, stressing his concern for unity of ranks and the purity of the Parliament.
He said that whoever is willing to stand with those who attacked the homeland should go to them and join them, as there is no place among us for anyone who supports our enemies.
He added that all the peoples of the Gulf Cooperation Council, who share our fate and blood, strongly support the sentences issued against traitors, including imprisonment, withdrawal and revocation of citizenship, and even demand more.
The Bahraini King stressed that these legislators have two paths, not a third: Either a clear apology to the loyal and honorable people of Bahrain, an apology that restores confidence, or let them join those who chose to side with them, stressing that the Parliament is a trust, and representation is an honor that is not deserved by those whose hands have been stained by betrayal of the homeland.
He pointed out that the country today is in dire need of a free and responsible opinion, stressing that freedom does not mean chaos, does not violate constants, and does not in any way mean betrayal of the homeland, as the homeland is above all, and Bahrain is a trust in all of our necks, and we will not give up an iota of its soil.
