Al Junaibi crowns Al Wahda champion of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Football Cup
ABU DHABI, 2nd May, 2018 (WAM) – His Excellency Abdullah Nasser Al Junaibi, President of the UAE Professional League and First Vice President of the UAE Football Association, in the presence of Mohammed Abdul Bari, CEO of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Group, crowned Al Wahda team champions of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Football Cup, after defeating Al Ain on penalties 4-2, in the final match held today at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
After the end of the match, Al-Junaibi crowned Al-Wahda team with the cup and gold medals, achieving its fourth title in the history of the competition, while Al-Ain team won the silver medals.
Zayed Al Hammadi, Al Wahda’s goalkeeper, won the Best Player of the Match award, after his brilliance and contribution to his team winning the title.
