Emirates National Schools opens registration for the scholarship program

Emirates National Schools announced the opening of registration for the “Scholarship Program for Outstanding and Gifted Students” for the academic year 2026-2027.

This comes within the framework of the schools’ firm commitment to preparing distinguished generations academically and nationally, capable of competing, innovating, and actively contributing to the service of society and the nation, which reflects the schools’ keenness to provide equal educational opportunities for outstanding and gifted students, and to enable them to develop their abilities and skills in an advanced educational environment that stimulates creativity and excellence.

Secretary-General of the Presidential Office and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emirates National Schools, Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Humairi, confirmed that the program embodies the vision of the wise leadership in supporting national competencies, noting that the continuation of the scholarship program reflects the success of the initiative in achieving its goals, whether through attracting outstanding students or promoting a positive competitive environment within schools.

Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Hemairi said: The program has proven during previous sessions its positive impact in attracting academically distinguished and gifted students. It has also contributed to enhancing the spirit of positive competition within the school community and encouraging students to maintain high levels of performance, achievement and commitment. We believe that true investment begins with the student, and that supporting outstanding and gifted students is a direct investment in the future of the nation.

The Director General of Emirates National Schools, Lachlan MacKinnon, explained that the scholarship program is one of the important initiatives that distinguish Emirates National Schools, because of its role in attracting academically distinguished and talented students in various fields. This was clearly reflected in the students who benefited from the scholarships during the past years, as many of them achieved advanced academic results and participated in scientific, sports and artistic competitions at the state level. A number of them also excelled in the fields of leadership, volunteer work and community service, and some of them received awards. Distinctive university admission opportunities inside and outside the country.

Emirates National Schools launched the program for the first time in the 2023-2024 academic year, allocating 100 scholarships, covering between 25% and 100% of tuition fees, for students from sixth to twelfth grade, in the “Academic Merit” and “Talent” categories. 175 male and female students of various nationalities benefited from the program.

The program continues its work in its current session, with a focus on attracting students who have an outstanding academic record or outstanding achievements in the fields of science, technology, literature, arts, sports, and community participation.

Schools also seek to build effective partnerships with parents, institutions and various entities, in a way that enhances the quality of the educational process and serves the aspirations of students and their families, and confirms the position of schools as an educational environment incubating excellence, and an essential partner in supporting the UAE’s trends towards building humanity, empowering promising national energies, and preparing future leaders capable of continuing the path of development and renaissance in the country.

“Emirates National Schools” invited students to submit applications for registration through the official website of “Emirates National Schools” (www.ens.sch.ae), or the “Scholarships” page, and review the conditions and criteria of the scholarship program. Noting that the specified period for registration will continue until June 30, 2026, it also allocated the e-mail (ensscholarship@ctr.ens.sch.ae) to communicate with the various school branches or for inquiries.
