“Make in the UAE 2026” events kick off in Abu Dhabi

Today, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), the activities of the fifth edition of the “Make in the Emirates 2026” platform were launched under the slogan “Advanced Industry…We Emerge Stronger” in the largest industrial cluster witnessed by the UAE.

Ministers, business leaders, investors, industrialists, innovators and youth, as well as media representatives, participate in the event, which will be held from May 4 to 7.

This year’s edition will be held on an exhibition area of ​​88,000 square metres, an increase of 30% compared to last year, while the number of exhibitors has increased to 1,245 exhibitors, an increase of 73% compared to 2025, representing the seven emirates of the country.

The platform also witnesses the participation of more than 2,000 specialized craftsmen, displaying more than 5,000 products, a growth of 4% compared to the previous session, in addition to organizing more than 50 sessions, panel discussions, and workshops, while small and medium-sized companies and entrepreneurs constitute 61% of the total participants.

The “Make in the Emirates” platform provides a practical model of the UAE’s efforts to enhance industrial flexibility and consolidate its position as a regional and global center for advanced manufacturing, as the unprecedented size of this year’s edition reflects the country’s long-term industrial orientation and its commitment to building an economy based on production and innovation.

The platform covers 12 priority industry sectors, including advanced manufacturing, energy, aerospace, defence, pharmaceuticals, mobility and sustainable materials.

The “Make in the Emirates” platform supports the country’s industrial strategy, through its role as a national mechanism for transforming ambitions into realistic projects and opportunities by gathering priorities, capabilities, and industrial opportunities under one umbrella.

The platform also highlights the role of reliable supply chains, scalable national companies, and local innovations in achieving tangible economic impact, supported by government demand and commitment to achieving sustainable industrial growth.
