The opening of Khor Al Mamzar Beach…the most beautiful new family destination in Dubai, with smart services and free internet

Today, Tuesday, Dubai Municipality opened Al Mamzar Creek Beach, the first phase of the Al Mamzar Beaches Development Project, to constitute the most beautiful new family beach destination in the Emirate of Dubai, and provides an integrated experience for visitors that combines entertainment and smart services, including free Wi-Fi (Internet) service along the beach.
The Al Mamzar Beaches Development Project is one of the most prominent strategic development projects led by the municipality, with a value of half a billion dirhams, to enhance the efficiency of the emirate’s coastal and beach infrastructure, and to transform Dubai’s beaches into global urban and tourism icons, reflecting Dubai’s future ambitions and providing an integrated urban environment that enhances a healthy lifestyle, community cohesion, and environmental sustainability.
The opening of the beach comes within a comprehensive plan aimed at developing the waterfronts in the emirate, as Khor Al Mamzar Beach extends over an area of ​​2.75 million square feet, within an integrated project with a total area of ​​about 4 million square feet, with a capacity of up to 7 million visitors annually, an increase of more than 170%, in addition to raising the efficiency of facilities and services by up to 500%.
The beach includes modern facilities and integrated experiences, including a floating walkway, the first of its kind in the region, barbecue areas, children’s games, fitness facilities, and multi-use playgrounds, in addition to 5.5 km of walking, running and cycling paths linking the creek, the Corniche and Al Mamzar Park.
The project also provides more than 65 investment opportunities, and includes more than 35 service and entertainment facilities designed according to the highest international standards, taking into account environmental sustainability and the needs of people of determination, in addition to advanced digital infrastructure that enhances visitors’ experience and raises the level of comfort and connectivity.
The municipality confirmed that providing free internet service is part of its ongoing efforts to delight visitors and tourists, and provide smart services that enhance their experience, which reflects Dubai’s trends in developing modern and integrated public facilities.
She pointed out that the opening of Al Mamzar Creek Beach represents a first step in completing the Al Mamzar Beaches Development Project, which will redefine the public beach experience in Dubai, by providing flexible, smart, and sustainable destinations that enhance the quality of life, and consolidate the emirate’s position as one of the best cities in the world for living and tourism.
The project integrates with the objectives of the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033, which focuses on enhancing public open spaces, supporting healthy lifestyles, and achieving community well-being. It is also consistent with the objectives of the Dubai Urban Plan 2040, to develop beachfronts and enhance the efficiency of urban infrastructure, in addition to being consistent with the Water and Green Spaces Roadmap 2030, so that Dubai will be the most beautiful and best sustainable beach city in the world.
